About The Role

The HR Business Partner role at Four Recruitment is a dynamic, hands-on position designed for a commercially minded HR professional. In this capacity, you will work closely with operational leaders to deliver impactful people strategies that support business objectives and foster a high-performing workplace culture. The role requires a proactive approach, offering pragmatic HR advice and solutions tailored to the needs of the organization. You will act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees alike, ensuring that HR policies and practices are consistently applied and aligned with organizational goals. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to organizational development, employee engagement, and change management initiatives within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive HR background with proven experience as an HR generalist or Business Partner.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced, commercial setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and employee relations is essential.
  • The candidate should demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and coach managers effectively.
  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is desirable.
  • Professional HR certifications such as CIPD or SHRM are advantageous.
  • The ability to analyze data, identify trends, and recommend strategic solutions is also critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with operational managers and leaders to provide trusted, commercially focused HR advice that supports business objectives.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, absence management, employee relations, and offboarding processes.
  • Coach and support managers to handle people-related issues confidently and effectively, promoting a positive workplace environment.
  • Lead and support employee relations cases such as disciplinary actions, grievances, and performance management to ensure fair and consistent treatment.
  • Utilize people data and insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and recommend appropriate interventions.
  • Assist in organizational change initiatives, restructures, and other HR projects to facilitate smooth transitions and positive outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the wider HR team to implement people initiatives that enhance employee engagement and experience.
  • Ensure all HR policies and practices are compliant, up-to-date, and consistently applied across the organization.
  • Support the development and delivery of training programs, workshops, and communication strategies aimed at fostering a high-performance culture.
