Butler Rose Partners with Established Manufacturing Organisation to Recruit Experienced HR Business Partner
Butler Rose is delighted to be partnering with a well-established manufacturing organisation to recruit an experienced HR Business Partner. This is a senior HR position offering the opportunity to play a strategic role within the site leadership team, driving people initiatives that support business performance, employee engagement, and organisational growth. Based within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will act as the trusted HR expert for your business area, ensuring that people remain at the heart of decision-making.
The Opportunity
As HR Business Partner, you will work closely with senior leaders and managers to develop and implement strategic people plans that align with business objectives. You will influence key decisions, support organisational change, develop leadership capability, and utilise people data to drive continuous improvement and business success.
This is a highly visible role where you will sit on the senior management team, providing both strategic direction and hands-on support across the full employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leaders to develop and deliver strategic people plans.
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations, organisational development, and people strategy.
- Support business change initiatives, including consultation, communication, and implementation plans.
- Lead talent management, succession planning, and employee development activities.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and support action planning following engagement surveys.
- Promote diversity, inclusion, wellbeing, and positive workplace culture.
- Coach and develop managers to build high-performing teams and leadership capability.
- Analyse people metrics and management information to support business decision-making.
- Oversee recruitment activity, onboarding, and talent attraction processes.
- Manage complex employee relations matters and support managers with performance-related issues.
- Ensure HR processes, systems, and documentation remain legally compliant and audit-ready.
- Support training, development, and organisational capability-building initiatives.

About You
The successful candidate will be a commercially minded HR professional who can operate effectively at both strategic and operational levels.
You Will Ideally Possess
- CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent.
- Previous experience partnering with senior management teams.
- Strong employee relations expertise with experience managing complex casework.
- Proven experience leading and supporting business change programmes.
- Line management and team development experience.
- A coaching approach with the ability to influence and challenge constructively.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using HR data and metrics to drive decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience gained within a manufacturing, industrial, logistics, or similarly fast-paced operational environment.
