18-24 month contract
Up to £47,000 dependant on experience
A hands-on HRBP role with genuine project and transformation exposure.
We’re working with an operationally focused business to appoint an experienced HR Business Partner to play a key role in shaping and delivering the people agenda, with responsibility for projects spanning policy development, ERP implementation and TUPE, alongside providing pragmatic HR advice and employee relations support across the organisation.
Working closely with the HR Manager, senior leaders and wider stakeholders, you’ll have the autonomy to take ownership of projects while contributing as a collaborative member of the wider HR team.

Your project portfolio will include:
- Leading and delivering a range of HR projects from scoping and planning through to implementation and evaluation.

- Supporting the planning and implementation of an ERP system, working with key stakeholders to ensure HR requirements are understood and delivered.
- Contributing to a wider transformation project, helping the organisation navigate people-related change.
- Supporting and delivering TUPE projects, providing sound HR advice throughout the process.
- Developing project plans, milestones, governance and risk management approaches.

- Reviewing HR processes and identifying opportunities for simplification, standardisation and digital improvement.
- Using workforce data and insight to identify trends, inform recommendations and support decision-making.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

We’re looking for an experienced HR Generalist/HR Business Partner, ideally with a background in manufacturing, engineering or another complex operational environment, who enjoys being close to the operation and isn’t afraid to get stuck into
You’ll bring proven experience of HR project delivery, ideally with exposure to organisational change and transformation, alongside experience developing, reviewing and implementing HR policies and processes. You’ll be confident partnering with managers and senior stakeholders, providing credible advice and practical solutions, while managing multiple projects and competing priorities effectively.
Just as importantly, you’ll be a collaborative team player. While the role offers plenty of autonomy and ownership, it’s a supportive HR function where everyone contributes and gets involved. We’re looking for someone who is flexible, proactive and hands-on, with a willingness to support across the wider HR remit rather than being restricted by job boundaries.
