Job Responsibilities
Mission:
Partnering closely with senior leaders and teams across retail and commercial functions in the UK, and in collaboration with brand HQs, you’ll act as a trusted advisor delivering commercially focused HR support across London, field-based, and retail teams. You’ll balance business partnering with operational delivery focusing on employee relations, talent acquisition, and development plus support the delivery of wider departmental and business projects.
Business Partnering
- Partner with leaders to build high performing, engaged teams that are equipped to deliver outstanding experiences for our clients
- Act as a true business partner, providing proactive, commercially focused HR guidance that supports performance, development, and organizational effectiveness across the business
- Working with UK and brand HQs to deliver HR programmes and initiatives including engagement, retention, and development - ensuring delivery within business objectives and timelines
- Contribute to building a strong, inclusive culture that values performance, innovation, and employee experience
- Coach managers to apply effective HR practices and ensure a consistent approach across the business
- Representation and contribution to HR practice at LVMH group and UK level

People Leadership
- Coach and develop leaders to enhance people management capability, driving high performance, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement
- Manage complex employee relations cases and provide advice and guidance ensuring relevant legislation and best practice is followed
- Support organizational design, restructures, and consultation processes, ensuring alignment with business strategy and legal requirements
- Anticipate organizational needs and proactively support leaders through periods of change
Talent Acquisition & Development
- Manage talent acquisition for business area in line with group practices and coach managers in best practice
- Partner with line managers to assess training and development areas, promoting use of internal career development programmes
- Support and develop local onboarding programmes, longer-term business plans, and succession planning
- Partner with LVMH UK HR community to support cross-division career development
HR Data & Projects
- HR administration in relation to delivery of own functional area
- Analyze workforce data and make use of digital tools to inform decisions and enhance performance
- Maintain HR data and deliver reports and documentation as required and to deadlines
- Support departmental projects and initiatives including maintaining policies & documentation and developing HRIS to meet business and legal requirements
- Demonstrate curiosity and adaptability in adopting new technologies and ways of working
- Involvement in annual compensation review & ensure data accuracy for payroll
- Contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
Occasional travel to Manchester head office & regular travel to London-based boutiques required

Profile
Education: CIPD Level 7 qualified or equivalent experience
Professional Experience
- Proven experience operating as an HR Business Partner within a fast-paced, multi-site, retail, or commerce environment
- Comprehensive working knowledge of UK employment law
- Demonstrated experience managing employee relations matters, with the ability to partner effectively with all parties
- Experienced in talent acquisition and development supporting effective recruitment practices and development programmes
- Effective use of HR data, systems, and technologies
- Experience of supporting organizational change is advantageous
Profile
- Excellent communication and coaching skills, with demonstrated ability to influence and build credibility with senior stakeholders and navigate complex, sensitive situations
- Able to plan, prioritize, and manage tasks across a broad range
- Ability to work across teams, self-manage projects, and work remotely to a wider HR team
- Demonstrate integrity and trust

Salary from £60,000
