About The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior People & Culture Business Partner to serve as the most senior HR leader for the Americas region. Based in New York City with a hybrid work model requiring three days in the office per week, this role offers a unique opportunity to influence and shape the employee experience across multiple states including New York, Texas, and Florida. Reporting directly to the UK-based Chief People Officer, the successful candidate will have full ownership of the People agenda within the region, partnering with senior leadership to deliver strategic HR initiatives and operational excellence. This standalone HR Business Partner role is ideal for an autonomous professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, combining strategic thinking with practical HR delivery. The position also involves periodic travel to Dallas and Florida offices to support regional HR activities and initiatives.

Qualifications
- Extensive multi-state HR experience, particularly in Texas, Florida, and New York
- Strong expertise in US employment law, payroll, and tax compliance
- Proven ability to manage complex employee relations cases independently
- Experience working within small to medium-sized organizations (under 500 employees)
- Previous experience in FinTech, SaaS, or technology sectors (highly desirable)
- Deep knowledge of payroll processes and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in using HiBob HRIS or similar HR technology platforms
- Experience supporting onboarding, background screening, and employee lifecycle processes
- Confidence working autonomously and influencing senior stakeholders
- Professional HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR (minimum SHRM-CP required)
Responsibilities
- Act as the senior HR Business Partner for the Americas, providing strategic and operational HR support
- Partner with senior leaders to develop and implement HR initiatives aligned with business objectives
- Lead on complex employee relations cases, offering expert coaching to managers and leaders
- Manage multi-state HR compliance, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws across New York, Texas, and Florida
- Oversee payroll, tax, and employment compliance processes to ensure accuracy and regulatory adherence
- Support organizational growth through workforce planning, talent acquisition, and development initiatives
- Lead onboarding, employee lifecycle management, and engagement programs across the region
- Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, performance management, and professional development
- Develop and maintain HR policies, ensuring compliance with evolving legislation
- Generate people insights and workforce analytics to inform strategic decision-making
- Act as the regional HR lead on global People projects, ensuring alignment and execution
- Maximize the use of HR technology, including HiBob, to improve operational efficiency and employee experience
- Travel periodically to support regional HR activities in Dallas and Florida offices
