Role Overview
The HR Business Partner is responsible for professionally and efficiently delivering the HR priorities across International Marketing. The HR Business Partner will build effective relationships with key stakeholders including across the International HR community and within ABF.
The role holder will be the first point of contact for providing timely and proactive HR, expected to be organised and carry out operational activities within their stakeholder groups, and in alignment with both Twining’s Responsibilities and up to date employment legislation.
Please note: That this role is part time 3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with International Marketing leaders, managers and team members providing inputs from an HR perspective to define and achieve business and organisational goals
- To act as a force for positive change across International Marketing in support of the Catalyst change programme
- Identify areas for improvement, to mitigate risks and propose steps to rectify them
- Provide proactive advice on HR matters that enable the business to achieve its objectives
- Develop and implement a range of people improvement projects and initiatives ensuring alignment with the leadership team
- Deliver and embed key HR projects, identified through the International HR agenda, notably, but not limited to, Thrive, wellbeing, diversity and inclusion and employee engagement
- Working in alignment with all stakeholder groups to manage the relationship with the Talent Acquisition Team, to oversee the Talent Acquisition process across International Marketing
- Interviewing and upskilling hiring managers in the interviewing process
- Working with stakeholders regarding leavers, liaising with HR Services, identifying requirements and approaches to replace leavers
- Working with stakeholders relating to promotions, remuneration
- Shaping new roles and benchmarking, managing the process on GoTwo and liaising with Reward
- Upskilling Line Manager - Line Manager training on HR basics
- 1:1s/check ins with Line Managers
- Belong - supporting in the delivery of our D,E&I sessions, and leading ongoing work
- Psychometrics – supporting psychometric execution and feedback as required in recruitment and development activities
- Pay Review - supporting the annual review process
- Performance reviews - Ensuring successful adoption of our Thrive performance approach and that managers feel enabled to hold performance and development discussions with their teams.
- Talent and succession planning – contribute to the annual talent review, including data collation, reporting and taking the resulting actions

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- CIPD Qualified
- Operational HR experience
- Organisation development or learning and development experience
- Experience in helping stakeholder groups through periods of change
- ER experience and case management exposure with up to date knowledge of UK employment legislation
- Successful track record of developing Line Manager capability and has experience of coaching teams and individuals
- Knowledgeable on all dimensions of generalist HR
- Broad HR operational problem-solving ability
- Project Management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to simplify the complex
- Able to influence others without positional power
- Excellent written communication skills
- Commercially aware and financially literate
- A natural coach
- Proactive approach to work; a self-starter and results oriented
- Determined and resilient; will seek solutions to sometimes difficult questions
- Discrete and adheres to confidentiality
- Culturally sensitive
- Flexible, proactive approach; approaches new tasks with energy and enthusiasm
