MacGregor Black are partnering with a leading global logistics organisation on the search for an HR Business Partner. This is a permanent role based in Leicester.

Working closely with operational leaders, you will deliver a commercially focused people agenda across a complex and fast-moving business area. You will provide end-to-end HR support while contributing to wider projects across employee engagement, organisational change, talent, performance and workforce planning. This role requires someone equally comfortable managing day-to-day operational priorities and influencing longer-term people decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with operational leaders to develop and deliver effective people plans.
  • Provide commercially focused advice across employee relations, performance, absence and organisational change.
  • Lead complex ER cases, investigations and formal processes.
  • Coach managers to improve leadership capability and people-management confidence.
  • Support workforce planning, talent reviews and succession planning.
  • Analyse people data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Lead and contribute to HR projects, including engagement and change initiatives.
  • Work closely with HR Shared Services, Talent Acquisition, Reward and Learning & Development.
  • Ensure HR policies and processes are applied consistently and in line with employment legislation.

What Are We Looking For:

  • Proven experience operating as an HR Business Partner within a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Strong employee relations and employment law knowledge.
  • Experience supporting organisational change and transformation.
  • Confident coaching and influencing senior operational stakeholders.
  • Commercially minded, resilient and comfortable working at pace.
  • Experience within logistics, distribution, manufacturing, retail operations or a similarly complex environment would be advantageous.
  • CIPD qualified or possessing equivalent professional experience.
