About Tosca

At Tosca, we help the world’s leading retailers, growers, suppliers, and manufacturers eliminate waste, reduce costs, and improve supply chain efficiency through our reusable packaging and pooling solutions. We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner UK & Ireland to lead the local people agenda and be part of the UKI leadership team.

This role combines strategic partnership with hands-on HR delivery, helping leaders build capability, develop talent, and create a high-performing, inclusive workplace. The role has one local team member and is supported regionally by the Payroll, Talent Management and Talent Acquisition teams.

What you’ll do

  • Partner with the Leadership Team to align people priorities with commercial objectives.
  • Lead the talent and performance agenda and ensure strong local talent reviews, performance management, succession planning, and leadership development.
  • Ensure excellent employee experience through effective delivery of core people processes across the employee lifecycle.
  • Provide guidance on complex employee relations matters and employment legislation across the UK and Ireland.
  • Build strong relationships across a matrix organization and effectively leverage regional and global HR expertise.
  • Lead and support change initiatives, helping leaders and teams navigate transformation successfully.
  • Drive employee engagement and foster a high-performing, inclusive culture.
  • Ensure HR data integrity and support informed decision-making through people analytics.

What you’ll bring

We are looking for an experienced HR leader who combines strong business acumen, sound HR judgement, and the ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on in the day to day.

  • +5y of HR experience in a business partner, HR Manager, or senior HR generalist role, ideally in an international or matrixed environment.
  • Integrity, discretion, resilience, and proactive mindset needed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and coaching skills, with the ability to build credibility at all levels.
  • Passion for talent development, succession planning, performance management, and building high-performing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of UK and Ireland employment law.
  • Comfortable using HR data and insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field; postgraduate qualification or professional certification such as CIPD, SHRM, or HRCI is preferred.

  • Location: Dudley office, on a hybrid working model and regular on-site presence.
  • Reports to: HR Director EMEA.
  • Total employee population in UK&I: +200
  • Travel: Approximately 20% travel to Service Centers in Coventry, Wakefield, Featherstone, Swadlincote, and Rathcoole, with occasional international travel within Europe.
