This is an exciting opportunity to join Plymouth Community Homes at a pivotal point in our journey.

As we’re about to launch a new 10-year Strategic Business Plan and continue to focus on our People as a major element of our strategy, we're reshaping our People & Culture function to ensure we're ready to support the ambitions of our organisation, our colleagues and the communities we serve. As part of that transformation, we've created a new HR Business Partnering Lead role.

What We Are Looking For

We're looking for an experienced and confident people leader who wants the opportunity to influence, shape and build. This is more than a traditional HR leadership role; it's a chance to help define what strategic business partnering looks like at PCH, lead a talented team through its next chapter, and play a key role in delivering organisational change, leadership capability and colleague experience across the business.

You Will Need To Have

  • Strategic people partner leadership experience
  • Project design and delivery at a high level
  • Ability to think outside the box whilst keeping our people and our organisation safe and able to be their best and authentic selves

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
