HR Business Partnering Lead · Remote (UK based) · Up to c.£130,000 + package
We're partnering exclusively with a scaling, private equity backed technology business to find a HR Business Partnering Lead.
This is a newly created role sitting at the centre of a growing global People function and reporting to the CPO. You'll be the primary HR partner to senior leaders across several markets, while building and leading a distributed team of HR Business Partners and generalists supporting employees worldwide. Although this role is remote, you'll need to be UK based.
What you'll be doing
- Acting as a trusted, strategic advisor to senior leadership — shaping org design, workforce planning, and talent strategy across an international footprint
- Leading, coaching, and developing a team of HR Business Partners and generalists, setting the standards and ways of working as the function scales
- Owning succession planning and building the structures and capability needed for a business moving at pace
- Driving change with confidence — leading through restructuring, role transitions, and new team stand ups while bringing people with you on the journey
- Championing efficiency and smarter ways of working — putting automation, self-service, and AI enabled tools at the centre of how the team operates
- Partnering cross-functionally with Talent Acquisition, HR Ops & Tech, and L&D to align the wider People roadmap

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Strong executive presence and the credibility to influence senior stakeholders across geographies and functions
