Do you want to make a difference?

Here at Eastleigh Borough Council we are committed to making a positive difference for all the residents, businesses and visitors to Eastleigh and we are proud to be delivering on our promise to create sustainable and healthy communities and increase employment and wellbeing opportunities for all.

Eastleigh Borough Council is looking for an experienced HR Change Consultant to support the delivery of a large transformation programme – Local Government Reorganisation (LGR). This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to play a key role during a pivotal time in local government.

LGR will reshape how councils are organised across Hampshire. For Eastleigh, this means clear, timely and trusted organisational change and transformation initiatives are delivered and staff are supported during this transition.

So, if you have comprehensive HR change experience at a senior level, are looking for a challenge and you want to be part of a team that really does make a difference to people’s lives, then this opportunity is for you.

The role

Working closely with Head of HR and senior leaders, you will drive restructures, organisational design, workforce planning, and consultation processes, while providing expert advice on complex employee relations matters. This is a strategic yet hands on role requiring strong stakeholder management, change management, and employment law expertise.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
