Nova Talent are working with one of the UK’s largest customs brokers in sourcing a HR Co-ordinator to provide effective and professional HR co-ordination and administrative support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring HR processes are delivered accurately, consistently and within agreed timescales.

The HR Co-ordinator will be the face of HR and work closely with the chief operating officer, managers and the HR team, providing practical support across recruitment, onboarding, employee records, absence, performance, payroll and HR reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate recruitment activities including advertising vacancies, arranging interviews and completing pre-employment checks.
• Manage new starter and onboarding processes.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR data using the HR system.
• Support managers with HR administration and day-to-day queries.
• Monitor probation reviews, absences and performance review processes.
• Prepare and provide information for payroll processing.
• Produce HR reports and maintain accurate HR metrics.
• Prepare HR documentation, letters and correspondence.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and HR projects.
• Ensure HR processes are delivered consistently and confidentially.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and systems.
