HR Consultant

French Works Council Experience
£600 per day - 3-6 Month Contract
Immediate Start
Hampshire / Paris - 5 days on site

I am currently recruiting for an experienced HR Consultant to join a large, US-owned beauty retailer that is going through a significant period of transformation and change.

This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional who has strong French Works Council experience and enjoys working in a fast-paced, project-led environment.

The Role

You will work closely with senior HR stakeholders across the business, supporting a range of high-profile transformation projects. A key part of the role will be providing HR expertise around the company's French operations, including working with and navigating French Works Councils.

The role will be based in Hampshire, with regular travel to Paris approximately twice a month.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
