An opportunity has arisen to join our HR team at Central Hall Westminster as a HR Coordinator
Location: Central Hall Westminster, Storey’s Gate, SW1H 9NH. This is an office-based role with an opportunity to work flexibly.
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Contract: 12 months, fixed – term contract (mat cover)
Reporting to: Acting Head of HR
Department: HR
Working pattern: Mon – Fri
Join one of London's most iconic event venues Central Hall Westminster (CHW) is the largest heritage events venue in Westminster, hosting conferences, exhibitions, graduations, corporate events, concerts and public gatherings from 2 to 2,000+ guests. Working with corporate organisations, charities, agencies and private clients, we deliver a diverse programme of events in one of London's most recognised venues. High-profile events hosted at Central Hall Westminster include the Netflix Wednesday Season 2 Global Premiere, The Late Late Show with James Corden, and the Burberry Fashion Show, reflecting our reputation for delivering memorable experiences in a unique and historic setting.

We're looking for an experienced HR Coordinator to play a key role in recruitment, onboarding, payroll preparation, employee relations, HR systems management and HR project delivery, supporting an engaging and people-focused workplace.
About you
- You will have previous experience in an HR Administrator, HR Coordinator or similar operational HR role, with practical experience supporting recruitment, onboarding and the wider employee lifecycle, together with a sound understanding of employment law.
- You will be experienced in managing competing priorities and taking ownership of tasks through to completion. The role requires someone who consistently delivers high-quality, accurate work, communicates effectively with a range of stakeholders, and builds positive working relationships with employees, managers and external providers.
- You will have experience preparing payroll information, maintaining HR systems and employee records, and responding to routine HR enquiries.
- You will understand the importance of data protection, handling sensitive information appropriately, and recognising when matters require escalation.

Given our organisation’s affiliation with the Methodist Church, an understanding and alignment with Methodist values are essential.
Experience of HiBob, HR workflow automation, employee benefits, pensions or learning and development coordination would be beneficial. CIPD Level 3 or progress towards a relevant CIPD qualification would also be welcomed.
