We're working with a well-established, growing HR and employment services organisation that is looking for an HR Coordinator / HR Documentation Consultant to join its team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in HR administration or documentation who wants to build their knowledge and develop a career within HR consultancy.

You'll work with clients across a wide range of industries, helping them keep their HR documentation accurate, practical and compliant with current employment legislation.

What will you be doing?

No two days are the same. You'll be responsible for supporting clients with their HR documentation and employment-related queries, predominantly over the phone, with some email-based work.

Your Day-to-day Responsibilities Will Include

  • Drafting and reviewing employment documentation, including contracts, letters and HR policies
  • Supporting clients with HR and employment law queries
  • Talking directly with clients to understand their requirements and provide practical options
  • Building strong relationships and rapport with clients
  • Managing a range of requests and ensuring they are completed within agreed SLAs
  • Keeping up to date with changes to employment legislation and HR best practice
  • Researching and interpreting employment law to provide accurate guidance
  • Working closely with colleagues and contributing to team meetings
  • Managing your workload effectively and working independently when required
  • Identifying opportunities to introduce clients to relevant HR products and services

What are we looking for?

You don't need to be an employment law expert from day one. We're looking for someone with a genuine interest in HR, excellent communication skills and the confidence to deal with clients directly.

You'll Ideally Have

  • Previous experience in HR, HR administration, employee relations, employment documentation or a similar role
  • A basic understanding of HR processes and UK employment legislation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence speaking to clients over the phone
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • The ability to research, learn and interpret legislation quickly
  • A proactive, practical approach to problem-solving
  • Strong organisation and time-management skills
  • The ability to work to deadlines and SLAs
  • Good Microsoft Office skills
  • A professional, flexible and positive approach
  • The ability to work independently while also being a strong team player
