We are seeking an experienced HR Coordinator to join a busy HR team based in Hemel Hempstead, supporting a large, multi-site workforce. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to gain broad exposure across the full employee lifecycle.

Our client is a leading UK organisation operating across multiple locations, supporting a large workforce within operational and customer-focused environments. Following a recent transformation of the HR function, the business has adopted a regional structure designed to provide a consistent, high-quality people service while creating greater opportunities for collaboration, development, and career progression.
The successful candidate will join a growing HR team based out of Hemel Hempstead, working closely with HR Business Partners and Employee Relations specialists who support multiple sites across the region. With a strong focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement, the organisation offers employees the chance to make a genuine impact while developing their careers within a supportive and evolving HR function.
Description
Reporting to the Regional HR Business Partner, the HR Coordinator will be based in Hemel Hempstead and provide comprehensive administrative support across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring HR processes are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in line with company policies.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Managing HR administration from onboarding through to offboarding.
- Preparing contracts, employee correspondence, and HR documentation.
- Maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring data integrity within HR systems.
- Acting as a first point of contact for HR queries and escalating matters where appropriate.
- Supporting probation reviews, absence management processes, benefits administration, and other people processes.
- Coordinating onboarding activities, including documentation, compliance checks, and system setup.
- Monitoring shared HR inboxes and responding to employee and manager enquiries.
- Assisting with HR reporting, audits, and compliance activities.
- Supporting HR Business Partners and Employee Relations teams with projects and operational activity.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, systems, and ways of working.

This role offers a blend of shared-services style HR administration and regional HR support, working with stakeholders across multiple sites while being primarily based in Hemel Hempstead. The position will suit someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership of their workload, and is comfortable working within a high-volume environment.
Profile
The successful candidate will have previous HR administration experience and be comfortable working within a busy, high-volume environment where accuracy and attention to detail are essential.

- Experience using HR systems and maintaining employee data.
