HR Coordinator

Reports to: Head of People
Location: Central London (Hybrid)
Salary: Competitive, dependant on experience
Contract: Fixed-term 6-month contract, to start immediately
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, hybrid working with three days per week in our London office

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised and conscientious HR Coordinator to provide administrative and operational support across the employee lifecycle, with a key focus on recruitment, onboarding, and HR systems. This is a varied role suited to someone who takes pride in accuracy, enjoys working in a busy HR environment, and is committed to delivering a positive candidate and employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating recruitment administration, including interview scheduling, candidate communication, feedback and outcomes.
  • Supporting hiring managers with application screening, candidate shortlisting and recruitment tracking.
  • Acting as a professional point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Carrying out pre-employment checks, including references, right-to-work verification, DBS checks and other screening requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and updating the HRIS and ATS.
  • Processing employee lifecycle changes, including new starters, promotions, salary changes and leavers.
  • Supporting onboarding, induction scheduling and new starter administration.
  • Preparing contracts, variation letters and other employment-related documentation.
  • Providing general administrative support to the HR team and wider people activity.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in HR or recruitment administration.
  • Experience using HR systems or HRIS platforms.
  • Strong organisational, coordination and communication skills.
  • High levels of accuracy when working with data, records and documentation.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • An understanding of recruitment processes, right-to-work requirements, GDPR and HR best practice.
  • CIPD Level 3, or working towards it, would be advantageous but not a necessity.
