HR Co-ordinator
The HR Co-ordinator will support the HR team by providing administrative and operational support across the full employee lifecycle. This role plays a key part in ensuring HR processes run smoothly, employees receive timely support, and HR records and systems are kept accurate and up to date.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting and posting job adverts on relevant platforms, carrying out application screening, and interview coordination between applicants and hiring managers.
- Act as a point of contact for applicants, ensuring a positive recruitment experience.
- Maintain and update the company’s applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Build and maintain talent pools for current and future hiring needs.
- Coordinate pre-employment screening, right to work checks, and obtaining references as required, and documenting accordingly.
- Issuing and processing new hire paperwork and ensuring onboarding procedures and documentation are completed.
- Act as a first point of contact for basic HR queries.
- Maintain and update employee personnel files and HR databases and complete offboarding activities as necessary.
- Support absence tracking, leave administration, and coordinate occupational health activities.
- Coordinate training and competence activities as required and maintain accurate, up-to-date training records.
- Support performance review cycles and associated documentation.
- Assist in updating HR policies and procedures as required.
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives and internal communications.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, safety regulations, company policies, and data protection regulations.
- Assist in other HR and Operations activities as required.

Required:

- Minimum two years’ experience in HR, resourcing, personnel coordination, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of employment/recruitment laws and best practices.
- Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), applicant tracking systems (ATS), and HR Software.
- Full, current UK driving licence.
