HR Coordinator | Care Sector | Coventry - on site | £26K to £28.5K | Full Time | Permanent
Gleeson Recruitment Group are working with a fantastic organisation who are looking for an HR Coordinator to join their team in Coventry. This is a great opportunity for an organised and proactive HR professional who enjoys working in a busy environment and wants a role with genuine variety across HR administration, recruitment and employee support.
The Role
Working closely with the HR team, you'll provide end-to-end administrative support across the employee lifecycle, with a particular focus on recruitment and maintaining accurate personnel records.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing high-volume recruitment administration from application through to appointment and induction
- Advertising vacancies and coordinating shortlisting and interview processes
- Preparing interview packs, schedules and recruitment documentation
- Supporting managers with recruitment activity and recruitment events
- Producing offer letters and contracts and processing contractual changes
- Coordinating pre-employment and safer recruitment checks, including references, DBS and employment history
- Maintaining accurate employee records, personnel files and probation information
- Supporting sickness absence and Return-to-Work administration
- Responding to HR queries professionally and confidentially
- Maintaining recruitment trackers, spreadsheets and HR records
- Supporting wider HR and office administration when required

About You
We're looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
You'll ideally have:
- At least one year's office-based administration experience
- Some previous HR administration or recruitment experience
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Experience handling confidential information
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel
- The confidence to work independently and use your own initiative
- A professional, friendly and adaptable approach
- Ideally, CIPD Level 3 or an HR/Admin qualification
