Windsor Forest Colleges Group

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for an HR Coordinator to join our Human Resources team, working at both the Berkshire College of Agriculture and Slough & Langley College campuses. This is a part-time, permanent position working 14.5 hours a week, all year round.

We can offer flexibility around the working pattern and welcome applications from candidates who wish to work either two days per week (Thursday and Friday) or spread their hours across three days (Wednesday to Friday).

The actual salary ranges from £10,692.38 (H19) up to £11,751.66 (H22) per annum depending on experience and qualifications, based on a full-time equivalent salary of £27,284 to £29,987.

HR Coordinator

As one of two HR Coordinators, you will work collaboratively to provide seamless HR support across the week, delivering an efficient and professional HR service to colleagues across the Group. Working as part of a supportive HR team, you will provide administrative and operational support across a broad range of HR activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing contractual changes and staff absence records through iTrent
  • Liaising with the Payroll Manager to ensure the accurate processing of employee information
  • Coordinating the end-to-end leaver process, including calculating final annual leave entitlements
  • Managing the HR inbox
  • Responding to telephone enquiries
  • Distributing incoming post
  • Acting as a professional first point of contact for HR queries
  • Maintaining accurate employee records in line with GDPR requirements
  • Processing incoming and outgoing reference requests
  • Supporting the Recruitment team by preparing onboarding documentation, processing DBS checks, and setting up new starters on iTrent
  • Providing wider administrative support to the HR team by preparing weekly Executive status reports, taking notes and minutes at meetings, and assisting HR Business Partners with project work as required
