Are you an HR Coordinator or similar from a Small-to-Medium size company, looking for a rare opportunity to take ownership of a brand-new HR position within the UK's leading Aquatic Engineering company, offering 3 days working from home and the chance to shape the role as the business continues to grow?

This is a newly created position within an established and expanding specialist engineering business of around 65 employees. The company are offering a highly flexible hybrid working arrangement, profit sharing and the opportunity to make a newly created HR position your own as you will become the central point of contact for day-to-day HR administration across the company.

You'll have the opportunity to make the position your own, supporting the full employee lifecycle across contracts, onboarding, recruitment, appraisals, HR systems, policies and employee engagement, while joining a business continuing to grow its team year-on-year.

The Role

  • Take ownership of day-to-day HR administration across the business
  • Prepare offer letters, contracts, remuneration letters and employment documentation
  • Manage employee records and HR information through BrightHR
  • Coordinate inductions, appraisals and recruitment activity
  • Maintain HR policies, company handbook and employment documentation
  • Support absence reporting and payroll administration
  • Act as a first point of contact for employee HR-related queries
  • Hybrid working with 2 days in the office and 3 days from home

The Person

  • Previous experience in HR administration or a similar HR position
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail
  • Confident handling confidential employee information
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer literate with Microsoft Office
  • BrightHR experience and/or an HR qualification advantageous
