Are you an experienced HR Coordinator or HR Officer looking for a role where you can broaden your HR advisory experience and work with a diverse range of organisations? We are working with a growing HR consultancy that provides practical, commercially focused and people-led HR support to a wide range of clients. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team and work closely with an experienced Senior HR Consultant, gaining exposure across HR operations, employee relations and advisory work.
The Role
As HR Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of a high-quality HR service across a portfolio of clients. You will take ownership of day-to-day HR administration, act as a first point of contact for routine HR queries and confidently support managers with straightforward employee relations matters.
You will also have the opportunity to get involved in HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives, with more complex or sensitive matters supported by the Senior HR Consultant.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage HR administration across the employee lifecycle, including contracts, offer letters, onboarding, probation and leavers.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems, ensuring data integrity and GDPR compliance.
- Produce HR reports, letters and management information.
- Support payroll changes and benefits administration where required.
- Provide first-line advice on day-to-day HR queries.
- Support managers with absence, return-to-work, probation, performance and conduct matters.
- Assist with first-stage investigations and prepare relevant documentation and outcome letters.
- Coach managers on routine HR policies and procedures.
- Escalate complex or high-risk employee relations matters appropriately.
- Support wider HR projects and process improvements.

About You
We are looking for someone with experience in an HR Coordinator, HR Administrator or similar role, who is confident working across both HR administration and routine employee relations.
You Will Have
- Strong HR administration and organisational skills.
- Experience using HR systems and maintaining accurate employee data.
- Practical experience supporting employee relations matters.
- A good understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- A proactive, responsive and commercially minded approach.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work with managers and employees.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification or working towards it would be advantageous.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across client sites.
