People Coordinator

We are working with a thriving and fast-paced organisation based in London, who is looking for an experienced and detail-driven People Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis. If you have HR experience within leisure, hospitality, or retail and are ready to take the next step in your career, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Location

Based at the London Head Office, with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.

Your Day-to-Day as a People Coordinator

As the People Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth day-to-day people operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing people administration across the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Producing and analysing HR data to identify trends and support business decision-making.
  • Coordinating key processes such as payroll, right-to-work checks, family leave, engagement initiatives, and talent tracking.
  • Supporting employee relations cases (low to medium complexity) and escalating where necessary.
  • Driving continuous improvement by reviewing processes and supporting wider People Team projects.

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with managers, Payroll, and other stakeholders while contributing to meaningful improvements across the business.

What We're Looking For

  • CIPD Level 3 or equivalent experience (ideally working towards Level 5), strong organisational skills, and proficiency in Excel (data analysis/reporting).
  • Previous experience in a generalist HR or People Coordinator role with exposure to employee relations cases.
  • Experience using HR systems to maintain records and produce reports.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build credibility at all levels.

  • Experience within hospitality, retail, or another fast-paced environment. Familiarity with Fourth HR or similar platforms is a bonus!
