Job Description
Role Overview
The HR Data, Analytics & Digital Transformation Lead will be instrumental in modernizing the HR function through the enhancement of people analytics, workforce insights, automation, data governance, and digital innovation capabilities. This role transitions HR from report production and system administration to proactive insight generation, decision-making improvement, process optimization, and future workforce anticipation.
Responsibilities

People Analytics & Workforce Insights:
- Develop HR analytics capability by identifying workforce trends, risks, opportunities, and predictive insights to support strategic decision-making.

Power BI & Data Visualisation:
- Design, develop, and maintain dynamic dashboards, meaningful visualisations, and self-service reporting tools for timely, accurate, and actionable people data access.

Automation & Process Optimisation:
- Identify, prioritise, and deliver opportunities to automate repetitive HR activities, streamline workflows, improve process efficiency, and reduce manual effort across HR services.

AI & Digital Innovation:
- Explore, assess, and support the responsible deployment of AI-enabled HR solutions, Copilot capabilities, intelligent automation, and emerging technologies to enhance HR service delivery and employee experience.

Data Governance & Architecture:
- Strengthen HR data governance by improving data standards, integration, quality controls, reporting architecture, and enterprise-wide data management practices.

Product Ownership & Technology Strategy:
- Contribute to the HR technology roadmap by managing digital products, prioritising enhancements, measuring benefits realisation, and ensuring systems meet evolving business needs.

Strategic Business Partnering & Consulting:
- Partner with HR, IT, business leaders, and external vendors to understand workforce challenges, identify technology-enabled solutions, and advise on future-state operating models.

Change & Transformation:
- Support digital transformation by developing adoption strategies, embedding new ways of working, enabling users, and ensuring changes are sustained at scale.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in HR systems, people analytics, workforce reporting, data visualisation, or digital HR transformation.
- Practical experience using Power BI or similar business intelligence tools to develop dashboards, analyse trends, and communicate insights clearly.
- Ability to translate complex HR data into meaningful business narratives, recommendations, and evidence-based actions.
- Good understanding of HR processes, employee lifecycle data, workforce planning, talent acquisition, talent management, and HR operations.
- Experience identifying and delivering automation, process improvement, or workflow redesign opportunities.
- Knowledge of data governance principles, data quality management, reporting standards, and system integration considerations.
- Awareness of responsible AI principles, including ethical use, human oversight, data protection, bias mitigation, and compliance requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner effectively with HR, IT, business leaders, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, deliver improvements through structured planning, and contribute to longer-term technology roadmaps.
- Excellent communication, consulting, and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge existing ways of working and recommend practical solutions.

Additional Information
- Salary: Between £56,000 and £70,000 depending on experience, plus flexible benefits package and bonus.
- On-Site Requirement: Minimum of 2 days per week.
