As an HR Generalist, you'll provide comprehensive and proactive support to the HR Manager, HRG Lead and wider business across the UK, Ireland and Nordics. Acting as a trusted partner to Retail, Distribution and Corporate stakeholders, you'll play a key role in leading employee relations activity, building manager capability, and supporting the delivery of people initiatives across the region.

About The Job

  • Provide day-to-day HR support across our Retail and Distribution teams in the UK, Ireland and Nordics.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee relations matters, managing cases including absence, disciplinaries, grievances, performance and capability issues.
  • Support managers with practical HR advice and coaching, helping them handle people matters confidently and consistently.
  • Build strong relationships with Store Managers, Distribution leaders and Corporate stakeholders, becoming a trusted partner across the business.
  • Use people data and insights to identify trends, highlight risks and support informed decision-making.
  • Support key people activities throughout the year, including talent reviews, engagement initiatives, workforce planning and Gender Pay Gap reporting.
  • Conduct regular store and site visits, providing hands-on support, training and guidance to managers.
  • Assist with organisational change projects and ensure people processes are delivered fairly, consistently and in line with local legislation and company policies.
  • Create and maintain HR resources, tools and guidance to support managers and employees.
  • Partner with colleagues across the wider EU HR team to share best practice, contribute to projects and deliver a consistent employee experience.

About You

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience in a dedicated HR Generalist or ER Advisor or role, with proven experience managing employee relations cases end to end.
  • CIPD qualification, or equivalent practical HR experience, is required.
  • Proven experience operating within a multi-site Retail, customer-facing or fast-paced environment.
  • Strong experience managing employee relations cases end to end, including investigations, disciplinary matters, grievances, appeals, absence, performance and capability processes.
  • Experience supporting managers with complex people matters, providing clear advice, coaching and challenge where appropriate.
  • Experience working across multiple jurisdictions or markets is desirable, particularly across the UK, Ireland and Nordics.

This is a hybrid position based in our Central London office (Great Marlborough Street). You'll typically spend at least three days per week either in the office or out in the business, including regular visits to our Swan Valley Distribution Centre in Northampton and stores across the UK. As a business-facing role, time spent in the office, distribution centre and stores may vary depending on business needs.

The expected starting salary range for this role is £34,100 - £45,400 per year. The amount an employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and our needs.
