Job Title: HR Generalist

Type: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £57,000.00-£62,000.00
Location: Edmonton, North London

About LondonEnergy

LondonEnergy operates the second largest waste contract in the UK, handling and processing nearly 750,000 tonnes of London's waste every year. We have a dedicated team of people working across our various North London sites, making a positive difference to the environment and the local community.

By processing household waste at our facility, we produce enough waste from energy to power 80,000 homes every year and recycle 70% of items through our Reuse and Recycling Centres.

About the role:

Our new HR Generalist provides operational HR support during the commissioning of the new Energy Recovery Facility (ERF) alongside the continued operation of the existing Energy from Waste (EfW) plant.

The role supports workforce planning, employee movement, recruitment and people-related activities to help ensure both facilities remain safely and sustainably staffed throughout the transition, including periods of parallel operation. Responsibilities include coordinating HR processes, preparing documentation, providing first-line HR guidance to managers, and ensuring employee information is accurate, timely and managed consistently.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
