About The Role

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of strategic plans aligned with the priorities of the Scottish Police Authority and Police Scotland.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of policing services, ensuring they meet established standards and community expectations.
  • Provide expert advice to senior leadership on operational, policy, and legislative matters.
  • Coordinate with external agencies, government bodies, and community organizations to promote collaborative approaches to public safety.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including data protection and safeguarding protocols.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at organizational improvement, innovation, and efficiency within the police service.
