HR Generalist
True hybrid working. 9am-5pm. 4 or 5 day working week considered.
Do you want a hands on role with autonomy? Working within a great team. Are you the type of person who would relish the opportunity to influence across the site and handle a varied workload? This is a rare opportunity due to retirement and an opportunity to make it your own.
You will be the most senior HR professional on site locally but working as part of a wider HR Partnering and Advisory team.
This could suit an established Senior HR Advisor or an experienced HR Advisor who is ready for greater responsibility and wants to develop further towards HR Business Partner level
You will work closely with managers and key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor whilst taking ownership of more complex people matters and supporting wider business change.

Key areas of responsibility will include:
- Managing sensitive employee relations cases from start to finish
- Coaching and supporting managers to build their confidence and capability
- Mentoring HR Advisors and providing guidance
- Working with stakeholders around performance, talent and succession planning
- Supporting engagement, wellbeing and inclusion initiatives
- Building strong relationships across the business and providing pragmatic, commercially focused HR advice
Experience of supporting restructures, redundancies, TUPE and organisational change would be advantageous together with union exposure.
The successful candidate will have
- A HR generalist background.
- Confident handling complex ER matters
- Be comfortable challenging, coaching and influencing managers
- CIPD Level 5 qualified, working towards this, or able to demonstrate equivalent experience.
