The Roles
The HR team are very much hands-on and fundamental in supporting Fevara plc and its employees to achieve their goals. We're looking for two proactive, hands-on HR Generalists to join our team and provide day-to-day HR support across our manufacturing operations. One role will be based at our Silloth site, and the other role at our Ayr site, with successful candidates expected to be visible and approachable HR presences on-site, building strong relationships with employees and managers.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop broad HR generalist experience, gaining exposure to recruitment, employee relations, absence management, onboarding, HR administration, and employee engagement while partnering closely with site managers and operational teams. The roles are full-time with a minimum of three days per week based onsite; you'll be a visible and approachable HR presence, supporting employees and managers while helping to deliver an excellent people experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end HR support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, HR administration, and payroll coordination
- Act as a first point of contact for HR queries, supporting managers and employees on a range of people matters
- Assist with employee relations cases, absence management processes, and occupational health referrals
- Coordinate recruitment activities, from advertising vacancies and screening candidates to onboarding new starters
- Support the implementation of HR policies and ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal procedures
- Produce and analyse HR metrics, including absence, turnover and headcount reporting
- Build strong relationships with employees and managers through a visible on-site presence
- Support employee engagement initiatives, communications, wellbeing activities and surveys
- Coach and guide managers on HR processes, procedures and best practice
- Partner with operational teams to foster a positive, engaged and high-performing workplace culture

About You
You’ll need:
- Previous experience in an HR support or HR generalist role
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- To have confident communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation
- To demonstrate integrity, diplomacy and confidentiality at all times
- Working knowledge of UK employment law
- To be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- The ability and willingness to travel to site three days per week
Ideally you will have:
- CIPD Level 3 qualification or currently working towards it
- Experience within a manufacturing or operational environment
- Experienced in recruiting for shift-based or volume recruitment roles
You'll be:
- Trustworthy and discreet when handling confidential information
- Resilient, adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment
- A collaborative team player who is equally capable of working independently
- Passionate about delivering a positive employee experience and building strong relationships across the business
