It's a broad generalist position with a particular focus on employee relations and performance management. You'll build relationships with leaders across the Trust, helping them manage people issues effectively while ensuring a consistent and pragmatic approach to HR.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Previous experience within education or a Multi-Academy Trust would be advantageous, but isn't essential if you have the right generalist and ER background.

As the role involves traveling between different Trust sites across the North West and Yorkshire, you'll need to drive and have access to your own vehicle.

What's on offer?

  • Salary: £38,000–£43,000 depending on experience
  • Contract: 4-month FTC, with a view to becoming permanent
  • Working pattern: Hybrid – typically around 3 days working from home and 2 days across Trust sites
  • Location: North West & Yorkshire
  • Start: Immediate start available

This could be a particularly good opportunity for an HR Advisor, HR Consultant, or HR Business Partner who enjoys being hands-on with ER and working directly with managers, while also wanting the flexibility of predominantly home-based working.
