Referment is working with a growing, VC-backed engineering and technology company to hire a part-time HR Generalist to take ownership of its day-to-day people function.

This is a standalone position covering both HR generalist responsibilities and recruitment, with the opportunity to help build the people processes and foundations required as the company grows.

You'll work closely with senior leadership and hiring managers across the business, with external HR and employment law support available when required.

The role would suit someone who has progressed beyond a purely administrative HR position and is ready for greater ownership across recruitment, employee relations and people operations.

The Role

You'll Be Responsible For

  • Owning recruitment processes from initial brief through to offer.
  • Working with hiring managers to define requirements and create job descriptions.
  • Directly sourcing candidates through LinkedIn and other relevant channels. Building candidate pipelines for technical and non-technical positions.
  • Screening candidates and supporting structured interview processes.
  • Managing candidate communication and experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Tracking recruitment activity and reporting on progress.
  • Managing external recruitment partners where specialist support is required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
