Loom Talent are working exclusively with a growing manufacturing/engineering SME based in south Derby looking for a HR Generalist to help cover a maternity leave starting in September.
This is a cracking opportunity and business who are ramping up for an exciting period of change.
The Business
They are c200 employees across 3 sites with additional business that they partner with day to day. They are going through an exciting period of change following the arrival of a new MD who is gearing up to take them on an exciting growth journey. The initial focus, however, is to get the business fit for purpose and in the right shape for that change.

The Role
You will report to the HR Director and support them day to day on the operational side of HR but with the opportunity to get involved in strategic projects.
- All 1st line queries and low-level ER case work (not high volume)
- Research and assist in the implementation of a new ATS and other HR systems
- Review and update all HR processes and policies
- Put together trainings and roll out management coaching based on the process and policy changes made
- Support with internal team restructures - job evaluations and job descriptions
- Implements a structure and plan for pending pay reviews
- General HR admin and documentation/data input
