Our panels, decorative surfaces and engineered wood products are used every day in furniture, flooring, interiors and construction projects around the world.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious HR Graduate Trainee to join our team and develop their career within a global organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate who is passionate about people, eager to learn, and ready to make a real contribution from day one.
Job Description
As an HR Graduate Trainee, you will gain broad exposure to a variety of HR activities while working alongside experienced HR professionals.
- Prepare engaging employee communications, including the quarterly employee newsletter
- Carry out HR administration and record-keeping, including generating grant funding claims for training spend
- Support the full recruitment lifecycle — sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating interviews and supporting the onboarding of new employees
- Support employee relations activity, helping to promote a positive, inclusive and supportive workplace
- Analyse HR data and contribute to HR initiatives and business projects
- Keep up to date with employment legislation, HR trends and best practice
- Contribute fresh ideas and get involved in projects and initiatives that improve the employee experience and the wider business
- Build strong working relationships across the organisation while developing your HR knowledge and professional skills

Qualifications
What we're looking for:
Essential
- Degree qualified in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline
- Ambitious and motivated to build a career in Human Resources
- Strong analytical skills, with a natural ability to problem-solve and work with information
- A confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, able to build positive relationships with people from diverse backgrounds
- Proactive, enthusiastic, resilient and results-driven, with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Curious and open-minded, with the confidence to bring forward new ideas and approaches
