Role Description

The HR Internship for Business Students at Blackmont Consulting is a full-time remote role focused on supporting human resources activities within a dynamic, student-run consulting environment. Interns will assist with candidate sourcing, screening, and scheduling interviews, as well as maintaining applicant records and HR documentation. They will help coordinate onboarding processes, support internal communication initiatives, and contribute to HR policies and procedures under supervision. The role also includes assisting with performance and feedback processes, gathering HR-related data, and preparing reports to support decision-making. Interns will collaborate closely with team leads and other departments to ensure a positive and inclusive experience for all members.

  • Strong foundation in Business, Business Administration, and Finance, preferably as part of current university studies.
  • Solid Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and support evidence-based HR decisions.
  • Effective Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication in professional settings.
  • Interest in human resources, talent management, or organizational development within consulting or non-profit environments.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and collaborate with diverse, international teams.
  • Proficiency with common productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software) and comfort learning new digital platforms.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and commitment to non-discriminatory, inclusive practices.
  • Enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Business, HR, Management, or a related field is highly beneficial.
