The role
This is a varied, hands-on generalist role supporting around 230 colleagues across five UK offices. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will be a trusted first point of contact for employees and managers, helping people feel heard, supported, and able to do their best work.

You will:
- Provide practical, commercially minded HR advice across the full employee lifecycle.
- Manage a broad range of employee relations matters with confidence, care, and discretion.
- Help improve HR systems, processes, and ways of working.
- Support HR projects and the wider people agenda.
- Build trusted relationships with colleagues at all levels.
- Travel regularly to our regional offices in Glasgow, Manchester, Bristol, and Birmingham.
About you
You will have solid HR Advisor or HR Manager experience and enjoy working in a busy, people-focused environment. You will be confident applying UK employment law in a practical way and balancing employee needs with business priorities.
You will also bring:
- CIPD Level 5 membership or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience managing employee relations cases independently.
- Experience using an HR system; HRIS administration or process improvement experience would be useful.
- Strong organization, judgment, and attention to detail.
- A warm, approachable, and professional manner.
- The ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- A proactive, collaborative approach and willingness to get involved.
- Resilience and calmness when handling difficult or sensitive situations.

Experience in financial services, professional services, or a multi-site organization would be an advantage, as would experience with Moorepay or Access LMS.
