HR Manager

Huddersfield | Hybrid (3 days on site, 2 from home) | £45,000 - £52,000

Not every HR role is about policies, process and red tape. Some are about rolling your sleeves up, building relationships and making a genuine impact in a fast-moving business.

We're partnering with an exciting lifestyle brand to appoint an HR Manager who thrives in a commercial, entrepreneurial environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business that has been through significant transformation and is now focused on its next phase of growth.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll become the trusted HR lead across the business, partnering with managers to provide practical, commercially focused HR support that helps the business move forward.

This isn't a business looking to overcomplicate HR. They're looking for someone who can bring common sense, credibility and confidence, balancing what's right for the people with what's right for the business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
