We're looking for an experienced, proactive, and people-focused HR Manager to lead our Human Resources function across the business. The Details
- Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (with flexibility to meet business needs)
- Location: Head Office, Silverdale
- Reports to: Company Directors
What You'll Do
As our HR Manager, you'll lead the Human Resources function, providing both strategic and day-to-day HR support across the business.
- Lead all aspects of the HR function, ensuring compliance with company policies, employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training and development.
- Manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance issues, ensuring they are handled fairly and consistently.
- Develop and implement people strategies that support business growth, employee engagement and talent retention.
- Provide professional HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on a wide range of people matters.
- Support workforce planning, succession planning and employee development across the business.
- Promote employee wellbeing and a positive workplace culture through engagement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate HR records, support payroll administration and produce HR reports to support business decisions.
- Lead performance review processes and identify training and development opportunities.
- Ensure HR systems and processes are efficient, confidential and compliant with GDPR and Health & Safety requirements.

Essential
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a standalone or senior HR role.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Excellent communication, coaching and interpersonal skills.
- Experience managing employee relations cases confidently and professionally.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High levels of discretion, integrity and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.

Desirable
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards).
- Experience within hospitality, leisure, tourism or a multi-site business.
- Experience implementing HR initiatives that improve engagement and retention.
