HR MANAGER - EXCLUSIVE OPPORTUNITY

Up to £60,000 Full Time

Location: East Midlands with ad-hoc UK Travel - Ideally suited to candidates based around Loughborough, Kegworth, Castle Donington, Long Eaton, Derby, Coalville and surrounding areas

Working pattern: Predominantly onsite, with some flexibility to work from home

SF Recruitment are exclusively partnering with a well-established and growing organisation within a fast-paced, exciting sector to recruit an experienced standalone HR Manager.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded HR professional who enjoys being visible, hands-on and close to the business. It's a broad generalist role combining operational HR with the opportunity to influence the wider people agenda and work closely with senior leadership.

Supporting a headcount of c.250 employees across various sites, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day HR function while acting as a trusted partner to managers and senior stakeholders across the group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing a proactive, hands-on generalist HR service across the business
  • Managing and advising on a range of complex Employee Relations matters
  • Coaching and developing managers to build confidence and capability around people matters
  • Partnering with senior stakeholders to understand and deliver key people priorities
  • Supporting organisational change and business-critical projects
  • Reviewing and improving HR policies, processes and ways of working
  • Supporting recruitment, retention, talent and workforce planning
  • Using people data and trends to identify priorities and support business decisions
  • Driving employee engagement and contributing to the wider culture and people agenda
  • Balancing immediate operational requirements with longer-term strategic HR priorities

About You

  • I'm looking for an experienced HR professional who is comfortable working autonomously, can build credibility quickly and is confident taking ownership of the HR function with a high level of independence.
  • Ideally, you'll have previous standalone and multi-site HR experience, with the confidence to support different areas of a business while building strong relationships with managers and senior stakeholders.
  • You'll need strong generalist and ER experience, excellent stakeholder-management skills and, importantly, the ability to switch comfortably between hands-on operational HR and more strategic conversations with senior leadership.
