We’re Hiring – HR Manager

Burney Street Practice is looking for an experienced and proactive HR Manager to join our friendly and supportive team.

We are a well-established GP training practice caring for over 16,000 patients across two sites in Greenwich and Deptford.

About the Role

This is a varied, hands-on HR role working closely with our Operations Manager, GP Partners, and management team, with responsibility for:

  • Employee relations and absence management
  • Recruitment, onboarding, and inductions
  • Contracts, HR policies, and procedures
  • Appraisals and performance management
  • Staff training and development
  • HR records and compliance
  • Workforce planning and staff engagement
  • Supporting positive organizational change

What We’re Looking For

  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent HR experience
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a dedicated HR role
  • Previous line management experience
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Confident managing employee relations and sensitive HR matters
  • NHS or General Practice experience would be an advantage

Location: Greenwich & Deptford, London

Salary: £17.50–£18.00 per hour

Type: Permanent | Part-time

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
  • 5+ years' experience in Human Resources
  • Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
  • Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees
  • Strong organizational, critical thinking, and communications skills
  • Attention to detail and good judgment
