We’re Hiring – HR Manager
Burney Street Practice is looking for an experienced and proactive HR Manager to join our friendly and supportive team.
We are a well-established GP training practice caring for over 16,000 patients across two sites in Greenwich and Deptford.
About the Role
This is a varied, hands-on HR role working closely with our Operations Manager, GP Partners, and management team, with responsibility for:
- Employee relations and absence management
- Recruitment, onboarding, and inductions
- Contracts, HR policies, and procedures
- Appraisals and performance management
- Staff training and development
- HR records and compliance
- Workforce planning and staff engagement
- Supporting positive organizational change

What We’re Looking For
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent HR experience
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a dedicated HR role
- Previous line management experience
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Confident managing employee relations and sensitive HR matters
- NHS or General Practice experience would be an advantage
Location: Greenwich & Deptford, London
Salary: £17.50–£18.00 per hour
Type: Permanent | Part-time

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
- 5+ years' experience in Human Resources
- Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
- Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees
- Strong organizational, critical thinking, and communications skills
- Attention to detail and good judgment
