About The Role
The HR Manager at TEAM will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's people strategy and operational HR functions. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine hands-on employee relations with strategic projects that enhance HR processes and systems. The successful candidate will work closely with managers and senior leadership to provide practical guidance on employee relations, performance management, and compliance. A key aspect of this role involves leading the implementation of a new digital people platform, streamlining documentation, and optimizing internal processes. The HR Manager will also contribute to developing policies, supporting organizational change initiatives, and fostering an inclusive workplace culture as the company continues to grow.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent practical experience supported by ongoing professional development. Demonstrable expertise in employee relations, supporting managers through complex workplace issues, and organizational change is essential. Strong knowledge of UK employment law, HR best practices, and right-to-work compliance is required. Previous experience in an FMCG, manufacturing, or production environment involving shift-based work is highly desirable. The candidate should also have excellent written communication skills, experience handling sensitive matters, and maintaining accurate employee records and compliance documentation.

Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day professional advice to managers on employee relations issues, including disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, absence management, and performance concerns.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and selection processes, ensuring alignment with business needs, company values, and legal obligations.
- Maintain accurate employee records, visa information, and compliance documentation across HR systems and files.
- Collaborate with external consultants to ensure contracts, policies, and the staff handbook are compliant with UK employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Lead the rollout of a new digital people platform, digitizing documentation and developing more efficient internal processes.
- Assist senior leaders with development initiatives, employee engagement, wellbeing programs, benchmarking, job descriptions, and recruitment strategies.
