Here at GXO, we’re seeking an experienced and driver HR Manager to join our Shared User site in West Hallam. Reporting to the HR Business Partner and partnering closely with the Site General Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the people agenda, supporting business objectives, and creating and engaging environment where colleagues can thrive.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident HR professional who enjoys working at pace, influencing stakeholders, managing change, and delivering practical HR solutions that support operational success.
This is a full-time, permanent position. You will work Monday to Friday, 08:00 till 16:30.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £50,000 per annum, and 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Partnering with site leadership teams to develop and deliver the people strategy, driving engagement, performance, and organisational effectiveness
- Providing expert advice and guidance on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance management cases
- Building leadership capability through coaching, training, and ongoing support to managers across all HR-related activities
- Driving talent management, succession planning, learning and development initiatives, and supporting future leadership pipelines
- Analysing HR metrics and management information, using data-driven insights to support business decisions and continuous improvement
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- CIPD Level 5 qualified with proven experience in a similar HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor role within a fast-paced working environment
- Strong employment law knowledge with a practical and commercially focused approach to HR
- Demonstrated experience of driving change management, cultural development, and employee engagement initiatives
- Excellent communication, coaching, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities, with the confidence to challenge and influence when required
