HR Manager £50K - £65K, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire

Are you an experienced HR Manager from a manufacturing background?

This role offers the chance to take ownership of HR within a well-established business, building on solid foundations while helping evolve and improve HR practices and services. This HR Manager role has an operational and cultural focus whereby you will be building solutions to drive improvements and effectively managing change within the business.

The HR Manager Role

You will manage the full HR function across the business in a varied, hands-on role covering both operational and strategic HR responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Identifying areas for business improvements
  • A team of 4 reporting directly in to you
  • Creating and embedding new process, systems and procedures
  • Maintaining positive employee relations
  • Supporting training, learning & development plans across the workforce.
  • Managing employment documentation and contractor agreements.
  • Colleague support and wellbeing
  • Recruitment

Your Background As a HR Manager

We are seeking an experienced HR professional from a manufacturing background who enjoys autonomy, variety and being part of a positive, stable business culture.

You Will Ideally Have

  • Previous experience in a HR Manager or HR Business Partner level role.
  • Strong generalist HR knowledge across the full employee lifecycle.
  • Confidence balancing strategic HR activities with hands-on operational responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive approach to continuous improvement and process development.
  • You will ideally be degree qualified and hold a CIPD qualification.
