Leadership & Management Development Focus
£50,000 gross per annum + £5,000 Completion Bonus
Fixed-Term Contract (October / November 2026 – November 2027)
Hybrid Working | Peterborough with occasional London travel
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced HR Manager to lead our HR function during a maternity cover period while designing and delivering a management development programme across our growing business.
Reporting to the Finance & Strategy Director, you'll play a key role in developing manager capability, providing expert HR guidance, leading employee engagement initiatives and ensuring the continued delivery of high-quality HR services.
This is an exciting opportunity to influence culture, strengthen leadership capability and make a lasting impact across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver a management development programme for new and existing managers.
- Coach managers on performance management, employee relations, absence management and difficult conversations.
- Act as a trusted HR advisor to managers and the Executive Team.
- Lead complex employee relations cases and ensure legal compliance.
- Manage and develop the HR Business Partner and Talent Manager.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives and action planning.
- Oversee key HR processes, including onboarding, performance management and talent development.
- Drive continuous improvement across HR systems, policies and employee experience.
About You
You'll be an experienced HR professional with:

- Previous HR leadership or HR Manager experience.
- Experience designing and delivering leadership or management development programmes.
- Strong employee relations and employment law knowledge.
- CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management and coaching skills.
- A proactive, commercially minded approach.
- Experience leading and developing HR teams.
