We are currently working with a successful and growing multi-site service business based in Newport to help them find an experienced HR Manager.
The Company
Our client is an established and growing business operating across England and Wales, with a network of sites supporting both individual and business customers. The organisation has continued to expand over recent years and has a strong focus on delivering high levels of customer service, developing its people and maintaining a positive workplace culture.
The Newport location is home to the company's head office and a number of central support functions, with the wider business operating across multiple locations. This is a people-focused, commercially minded organisation offering a varied environment for an HR professional who enjoys working closely with managers and employees across a multi-site business.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a people-focused HR professional with a strong grounding in employee relations, HR compliance and policy, who enjoys working in a varied and hands-on environment.
As HR Manager, you will provide HR support across the organisation, working closely with managers and employees across multiple sites. There will be some travel to other locations, so the role would suit someone who enjoys being visible and building strong relationships across a geographically dispersed workforce.

You will play an important role in developing the employee experience, strengthening HR processes and supporting the business as it continues to grow.
Responsibilities
- Providing expert guidance and support to managers and employees on a range of HR matters
- Managing and resolving complex employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance matters
- Supporting managers with conflict resolution and providing practical, commercially focused HR advice
- Leading the development, implementation and ongoing review of HR policies and procedures
- Ensuring employee records are accurate, compliant and appropriately maintained
- Developing and delivering employee engagement initiatives
- Monitoring and analysing HR metrics and providing meaningful reports and insights to support decision-making
- Supporting the development and implementation of the wider HR strategy
- Keeping up to date with changes in employment legislation and ensuring the business remains compliant
- Building strong relationships with managers and employees across multiple locations
- Supporting wider HR projects and initiatives as the business continues to develop
The Person
We are looking for an experienced HR professional who is confident working across a broad range of HR activity and is comfortable operating at both a strategic and hands-on level.

You Will Ideally Have
- A minimum of 3 years' HR experience, including experience at HR management level
- Experience working within an organisation of 50+ employees
- CIPD Level 5 or Level 7, or currently working towards this
- Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and a commitment to keeping up to date with regulatory changes
- Strong employee relations experience and the confidence to deal with complex and sensitive situations
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle is preferred due to the multi-site nature of the role
Salary & Benefits
£32,000 - £35,000 Depending On Experience, Plus

Location: Newport with some travel to other sites.
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with rota'd hours between 9.00am and 5.30pm.
