We're recruiting an experienced HR Manager to take ownership of the people function for a growing, purpose-led organisation.

The role offers significant flexibility, with a mixture of home working and approximately 1–2 days per week in the London office.

You'll have responsibility for the organisation's HR function, including:

  • Developing and implementing the overall people and HR strategy
  • Advising senior leadership on organisational structure, culture and people-related decisions
  • Managing the full employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding through to exit
  • Managing employee relations including disciplinary, grievance and redundancy processes
  • Reviewing and developing HR policies, procedures and the Employee Handbook
  • Leading recruitment and workforce planning alongside hiring managers
  • Developing structured approaches to pay, progression, benefits and performance management
  • Coaching managers on people management and HR best practice

  • Supporting organisational change and the continued development of an effective hybrid working culture

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • The ability to create and improve HR policies, processes and frameworks
  • Confidence advising and influencing senior management

  • A pragmatic, hands-on approach – you'll need to be comfortable developing strategy and then implementing it yourself

A CIPD Level 5+ qualification would be advantageous, as would previous experience within an SME or scaling organisation, HRIS implementation, organisational change or supporting employees internationally.

Why consider it?

This isn't a heavily siloed corporate HR position. You'll have genuine ownership of the people function and direct access to senior leadership, with the freedom to shape HR processes and influence how the organisation develops.

The 20-hour working week and flexible hybrid arrangement could make it particularly attractive to an experienced HR professional looking for a senior, autonomous position without returning to a conventional five-day working week.
