About the Role
Are you an experienced HR professional who enjoys building positive workplace cultures and supporting operational teams? Can you build trusted relationships with managers, trade unions and employees to deliver positive business outcomes? Do you enjoy coaching managers and creating engagement across multiple sites?
Join GXO as an HR Manager supporting the Costa contract across our southern region. Working closely with operational leaders, trade unions and HR colleagues, you'll help deliver people initiatives, support employee relations matters and drive engagement across the region. This is a varied role where you'll coach managers, build strong stakeholder relationships and contribute to a positive and consistent employee experience. Key Responsibilities
- Partner with site operational leaders to deliver the people plan across Greenford, Willand (Devon) and Avonmouth (Bristol), ensuring HR initiative support business objectives
- Coach and develop managers, helping to build capability in people management, performance management, succession planning and overall employee experience
- Lead and manage employee relations cases, providing expert advice on disciplinary, grievance absence management and dispute resolution matters
- Build strong relationships with Trade Unions and key stakeholders, supporting consultation processes
- Analyse HR metrics and trends to identify opportunities to improve engagement, retention, diversity and performance

Requirements
- CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards level 5) with proven experience operating at HR advisor level or above
- Strong employee relations experience, including disciplinary, grievance absence management, dispute resolution and trade union engagement
- Excellent stakeholder management and coaching skills with the ability to influence and support managers at all levels of the business
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across multiple sites, with the flexibility to support a 24/7 operational environment
What We Offer
- Salary: £44,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). For 3 or 4 days per week, salary and holiday entitlement will be paid on a pro-rata basis.
