Job Advertisement: HR Manager

Location: Hungerford (Hybrid - minimum 3 days in the office)

Contract Type: Temporary

Duration: 4-6 Months (with potential extension)

Start Date: September 2026

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £50,000 - £57,000 per annum equivalent, paid on an hourly rate basis

The Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner for an interim opportunity within their People Team. You'll provide expert HR support across the UK business, managing employee relations matters, advising on employment legislation, and partnering with leaders to deliver effective people solutions.

This role requires a minimum of three days per week in the Hungerford office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with managers and senior leaders across the business.
  • Provide advice on UK employment law, HR best practice, and people policies.
  • Manage complex Employee Relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence, and organisational change matters.
  • Support organisational change and business improvement initiatives.
  • Coach managers to ensure fair and consistent people decisions.
  • Develop and review HR policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues and key stakeholders to deliver effective people solutions.
  • Use HR data and insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to employee engagement and culture initiatives.

About You

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Manager, Senior HR Advisor, or similar.
  • Strong Employee Relations experience with the ability to manage complex cases independently.
  • Sound knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Experience supporting organisational change or transformation projects.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Excellent communication and coaching abilities.
  • Experience supporting multi-site operations.
  • CIPD qualification desirable, although equivalent experience will be considered.
