The Role:
The HR Manager is responsible for the overall people experience at Technimove. This is a hands-on, 360° HR role, covering recruitment, onboarding, training and development, reward, employee relations, and HR administration. The role will work closely with the People & Talent Partner and SLT to deliver an effective and engaging employee experience.
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Work closely with the People & Talent Partner to support the end-to-end recruitment process.
- Take a hands-on role in CV screening, telephone/video screening, interviews, and candidate assessment, providing feedback and recommendations to hiring managers.
- Support interview coordination, candidate communication, references, pre-employment checks, and offers.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Support and coordinate onboarding, including inductions, mandatory training, and H&S requirements.
- Support probation processes and ensure new starters are set up for success.

HR Operations & Employee Relations
- Act as a key point of contact for employee and management HR queries, providing practical and commercially appropriate advice.
- Support the SLT with disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence, and other employee relations matters.
- Maintain accurate HR records, systems, security clearances, and employment documentation.
- Regularly review HR policies and the employee handbook to ensure compliance with UK legislation.
Learning, Reward & Engagement
- Support training and development initiatives, including external courses and e-learning.
- Administer and review compensation and benefits to remain competitive.
- Gather and analyse HR data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Work with the SLT on team-building activities, employee engagement, and company events.
- Promote Technimove's values of Purpose, People, and Passion.
Business Partnership & Continuous Improvement
- Hold fortnightly 1-2-1s with the SLT to discuss people matters and team requirements.
- Work collaboratively with the People & Talent Partner and SLT on people projects and initiatives.
- Take ownership of HR tasks and projects from start to finish, identifying and implementing improvements.
- Be a proactive, hands-on HR professional who is comfortable getting involved in the detail and doing the work, rather than operating purely in an advisory capacity.
- Ensure compliance with Technimove's BMS and data security requirements, raising opportunities for improvement where appropriate.

Personal Specification:
Essential
- Level 5 CIPD qualification.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation.
- Experience using HiBob and Ashby.
- Experience within an SME and/or broad standalone HR role.
- Hands-on experience across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR operations.
- Experience screening candidates and conducting interviews.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proactive, practical, and solutions-focused approach.
- A genuine "doer" who takes ownership and enjoys getting involved.
- Strong organisation, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities.
Desirable
- Level 7 CIPD qualification.
- Experience within the IT industry.
- Experience supporting technical recruitment.
- Experience with HR and recruitment systems.
