Role
We're looking for an experienced HR Manager on a temporary basis to provide immediate support during a busy period. This is a hands-on role for a confident HR professional with strong employee relations and investigation experience, who can quickly build credibility, manage complex cases, and deliver practical, commercial HR advice.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing a varied employee relations caseload, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance and capability matters.
- Leading and supporting complex workplace investigations from start to finish.
- Advising managers on HR policies, procedures and employment law.
- Producing clear, thorough investigation reports and recommendations.
- Coaching managers to ensure consistent and compliant people practices.
- Supporting the wider HR team with operational priorities as required.

What we're looking for:
- Proven experience in an HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor role.
- Strong employee relations and workplace investigation expertise.
- Excellent knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Confidence handling sensitive and complex cases independently.
- CIPD qualified (or equivalent experience).
- A proactive, pragmatic approach with the ability to make an impact quickly.
