HR Manager
Near Hayes | £60,000-£65,000 + Excellent Benefits | Full-Time, On-Site (5 Days Per Week)
Morgan Philips is delighted to be exclusively partnering with a well-established manufacturing business to recruit an experienced and proactive HR Manager.
This is a highly visible role with responsibility for leading the people agenda across a fast-paced operational environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing employee relations, driving employee engagement, enhancing EDI initiatives, developing management capability, and overseeing all day-to-day HR operations.
Please note: this is a fully site-based position, requiring attendance on-site 5 days per week at the company's location near Hayes. This is not a hybrid role.
The Role
Reporting into senior leadership, you will provide both strategic and operational HR support across the business, working closely with managers and employees at all levels.
Key responsibilities include:
- Driving employee engagement initiatives and supporting the development of a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
- Leading Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) programmes and embedding best practice across the business.
- Designing and delivering management development initiatives to enhance leadership capability.
- Managing recruitment activity across both blue-collar and white-collar populations.
- Supporting organisational change programmes and ensuring effective change management practices.
- Reviewing, developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Managing employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary and grievance processes.
- Overseeing performance management processes and supporting managers with performance improvement initiatives.
- Producing HR reporting and analysing workforce data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.

About You
We're looking for an experienced HR professional who can operate confidently in a manufacturing or operational environment and build strong relationships across all levels of the business.
You will have:
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent) as a minimum.
- Proven HR management experience within a manufacturing, engineering, production or similar operational environment.
- Strong employee relations experience and confidence managing complex HR matters.
- A track record of delivering employee engagement, EDI, recruitment and management development initiatives.
- Experience supporting both blue-collar and white-collar workforces.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
- A hands-on, pragmatic approach with the ability to balance strategic priorities with operational delivery.
- Previous union experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
- French language skills would be beneficial, although not required.
